It's a great way to showcase your business without the costs of a full website, and allows you to collect customer reviews. These play an enormous role in helping potential clients decide to buy from you.
Even short-term projects can benefit from an online presence, especially if you have a lot of info to convey. I recently created a free WordPress site for a group of candidates standing for their Parish council elections.
It allowed them to distribute small leaflets with teaser info and a QR code linking to the website, which then detailed their individual reasons for standing, as well as their manifesto. As they secured 6 of 10 available seats, the clients considered this approach to be a resounding success.
